Mato Grosso do Sul investors reach R$ 90 million in Tesouro Reserva applications

Investors in Mato Grosso do Sul have channeled R$ 90.1 million into the Tesouro Reserva, a new investment modality linked to the National Treasury. Launched in May through Banco do Brasil, the product has attracted more than 2,300 investors within the state, with an average application of R$ 39.1 thousand per client.

Nationally, the product has accumulated R$ 7.5 billion from over 186,500 Banco do Brasil customers. The investment yields are tied to the Selic rate and allow for applications starting at R$ 1, with a monthly limit of R$ 500,000 per investor. The modality follows the tax rules of Tesouro Direto, featuring regressive income tax rates and IOF charges applicable only on redemptions made within the first 30 days.
