Mato Grosso do Sul launches 2,000‑teacher contest and TJMS internship selection
The State Secretariat of Education of Mato Grosso do Sul (SED MS) received authorization to hold a new public contest for 2,000 teacher positions covering the entire state. The decision was announced at a meeting with Governor Eduardo Riedel and Education Secretary Hélio Daher on May 4. The contest will follow a new model that is not limited to specific municipalities; the timetable will be set by the State Administration Secretariat.
Separately, the Mato Grosso do Sul Court of Justice (TJMS) issued a call for applications to its reserve register of higher‑education interns. The online, single‑stage exam of 30 multiple‑choice questions is scheduled for June 14, with registrations closing on June 7. Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of R$ 1,317.80 (including transport allowance) for a 25‑hour work week. Eligible courses include administration, law, engineering, medicine, among others.
