Mato Grosso do Sul staging mountain‑bike stage and youth football matches

The city of Dourados in Mato Grosso do Sul will host the fourth stage of the Copa Conesul Mountain Bike (MTB/XCM) on Sunday, 26 February. The race, organized by TNT Associação Esportiva in partnership with the municipality and Funed, expects about 200 athletes across Pro, Sport, Tourism and E‑bike categories. Prize money ranges from R$1,000 for the men's Pro winner to R$800 for the women’s Elite champion. The event follows the regulations of the state and national cycling federations and the UCI.

Meanwhile, the state’s football federation (FFMS) has scheduled a busy weekend of youth matches in five cities – Campo Grande, Dourados, Naviraí, Ivinhema and Mundo Novo. Highlights include the Sub‑13 semifinal between Náutico FC and EC Águia Negra in Campo Grande, and multiple Sub‑15, Sub‑11, Sub‑14 and Sub‑16 games across the region, with the winners advancing to upcoming finals.

Both events showcase the development of mountain‑bike and football competitions in Mato Grosso do Sul, drawing athletes and spectators from across the state.
