Mato Grosso extends MT Produtivo registration deadline to October 26
The deadline for registration in the MT Produtivo program has been extended to October 26. The initiative, launched by the Mato Grosso State Secretariat for Family Farming (SEAF-MT), is open to productive organizations, such as associations and cooperatives, representing family farmers across 61 municipalities in the state.
The program aims to select organizations interested in developing business plans to strengthen productive chains. Key objectives include improving production, increasing market access, and enhancing climate resilience through structured investments in value chains.
Eligible sectors for financing include dairy cattle, fruit growing, vegetable cultivation, cassava, coffee, cocoa, apiculture, and meliponiculture. The program also supports socio-biodiversity products from non-timber extraction, such as Brazil nuts, baru, babaçu, buriti, açaí, rubber, and pequi. Additionally, support may extend to artisanal food processing, rural and ecological tourism, medicinal plants, handicrafts, and solidarity economy ventures related to these chains.
