Mato Grosso Legislative Assembly Opens Free Federal Tax Service Center

The Assembly of Mato Grosso (ALMT) inaugurated a new Receita Federal service desk within its Espaço Cidadania complex in Cuiabá. The center offers over 20 free tax‑related services, including CPF registration and updates, income‑tax inquiries, issuance of DARF and GPS guides, rural and professional registry updates, and CNPJ document processing. Staff assist citizens, micro‑entrepreneurs and family farmers in completing paperwork, reducing the need to travel to federal agency offices.

The initiative aims to streamline fiscal and cadastral procedures, improve access to essential documents, and lessen bureaucratic barriers that can affect banking, credit and social‑benefit eligibility for the population.

The opening reflects a broader effort by the state legislature to consolidate public services in one location, providing integrated assistance to residents of the Cuiabá region.
