Mato Grosso has harvested 90.66% of the corn planted for the second‑season (safrinha), putting the state on track for a record output of about 57.06 million tonnes—more than half of the national second‑season forecast of 109.43 million tonnes according to the Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento (Conab).
