Mato Grosso's Alto Tapajós Hospital Receives Advanced Medical Equipment

The newly inaugurated Hospital Estadual do Alto Tapajós in Alta Floresta, Mato Grosso, has received more than 500 items of hospital furniture and life‑support equipment covering 16 types. The total value of the equipment already delivered reaches R$ 31.78 million, including a state‑of‑the‑art magnetic resonance imaging scanner and an angiography/hemodynamics system worth R$ 15.13 million.

Additional acquisitions such as a computed‑tomography scanner, among other devices, are slated for delivery, with pending contracts valued at roughly R$ 69.69 million. The 18,000 m² facility will house 162 beds, including 40 intensive‑care beds (20 adult, 10 pediatric, 10 neonatal), and is expected to begin phased operations in July, offering specialties such as oncology, interventional cardiology, orthopedics, and neurosurgery.
