Matsunoya launches double portion fair for assorted set meals

The tonkatsu restaurant chain Matsunoya has launched a ‘Double Portion Fair’ starting October 21. Under this promotion, eight specific assorted set meals featuring loin cutlet or extra-thick ribeye cutlet will have their side fried items doubled in quantity while maintaining their original prices.

Targeted items include oyster fry, horse mackerel fry, shrimp fry, and fried chicken. For example, the loin cutlet and fried chicken set increases from three pieces to six pieces for 990 yen, and the loin cutlet and oyster fry set increases from two pieces to four pieces for 1,030 yen.

The promotion applies to both dine-in and takeout at the same price, though miso soup requires an additional fee for takeout orders. Please note that shareholder benefit coupons cannot be used for this fair, and locations in highway service areas are excluded. Additionally, the chain is currently running a separate campaign offering free rice refills for dine-in customers.
