Matsuyama adds new TOU℃ donut shop and summer shaved‑ice stalls

The Japanese city of Matsuyama saw two seasonal food openings. On 11 February 2026 the TOU℃ (Toudo) donut shop opened its second location in the Kiyomachi district, offering 19 varieties of donuts, including cream‑filled, cruller, and lemon‑flavored items from nearby Uwajima. The shop features a pink‑themed interior, cash‑less payment options, and attracted a short line of six parties before opening.

During the summer, the city introduced two limited‑time shaved‑ice venues. "Fuurindo" began serving pure‑ice desserts on 1 July 2024 (operating until 31 August 2026) with flavors such as strawberry‑yogurt, chocolate‑milk, mango‑milk, kinako‑caramel, and matcha. The other, "Natural Ice Yume Maboroshi," will open on 31 July 2026 at the former BAR Yume Maboroshi, offering premium shaved ice made from natural ice sourced from the Yatsugatake mountains. Both stalls aim to provide a cool, airy treat for daytime visitors.
