Matt Sorum announces ‘Sound & Vision Live’ charity album

A new limited-edition charity album titled ‘Sound & Vision Live’ has been announced, featuring performances by Paul Rodgers of Bad Company and Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath. Produced by former Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum, the double vinyl album was recorded during the inaugural Palm Springs Sound & Vision Awards in California.

Proceeds from the album will benefit Sorum’s nonprofit foundation, Adopt the Arts, which aims to provide high-quality music education to underserved elementary schools. The recording features an extensive lineup of artists, including Lzzy Hale, Glenn Hughes, Steve Stevens, Corey Taylor, Robert DeLeo, and Nuno Bettencourt.

The first pressing is limited to 2,000 copies and is available for preorder through Experience Vinyl, with shipping scheduled for September 28. A release celebration including screenings of a companion concert film will take place on September 13 at the Plaza Theatre in Palm Springs.
