Mattel and Formula 1 announce F1 expansion for Hot Wheels Infinite Rush

Mattel, Formula 1, and game developer Milestone have announced the ‘F1 Car Collection Pack’ for the racing game Hot Wheels Infinite Rush. Scheduled for release in March 2027, the downloadable content will introduce all 22 official cars from the 2026 Formula 1 grid to the game.

Each vehicle will be recreated based on its corresponding Hot Wheels die-cast model. The cars will be placed in the ‘Speeder’ category, which is the fastest vehicle class within the game. This expansion joins an existing roster of over 150 vehicles available at the game's launch.

This collaboration marks the first time officially licensed Formula 1 cars will be playable in a Hot Wheels video game. The partnership between Formula 1 and Mattel previously won the Best Licensed Toys or Games Range at the 2026 Licensing Awards. Hot Wheels Infinite Rush is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
