Matteo Bianchi and Mattia Predomo win team sprint at Italian Track Cycling Championships in San Francesco al Campo
Matteo Bianchi and Mattia Predomo, both South Tyrolean riders, captured the elite men's team sprint title at the Italian National Track Cycling Championships held at the Velodromo Francone in San Francesco al Campo, Turin province. The duo recorded a winning time of 36.955 seconds, beating the second‑place Italian trio by more than a second (38.017 seconds).
The championships, staged on the velodrome’s uncovered track, also marked the venue’s 30th anniversary. Built in 1996, the Velodromo Francone hosted its inaugural event the day after opening and now hosts a program of 22 races across elite and junior categories, with free public entry.
