Maui surf forecast predicts building swells through the week

Surf conditions in Maui are expected to build throughout the week. A series of long to medium period south-southwest to south swells are filling in, which should result in more consistent sets along south-facing shores by Thursday.

By the weekend, a reinforcing southerly swell is forecast to increase surf levels near High Surf Advisory thresholds. Additionally, surf along east-facing shores is expected to increase due to strengthening trade winds and a small, medium-period east swell from the remnants of Norbert. North-facing shores are expected to remain flat to tiny during this period.
