Maule region leads Chile in employment subsidy applications

In Chile’s Maule region, 680 companies have applied for the Government’s Employment Subsidy, covering 2,200 workers. This makes Maule the second region in the country with the highest number of applications, following the Metropolitan region.

Local authorities, including Labor Seremi Ervin Castillo Arancibia and Senator Andrea Balladares, highlighted the program's role in boosting the national economy and supporting female employment. One local business, ‘La Cafetería’, utilized the subsidy to hire 15 people, 13 of whom were women.
