Maule Region to host heritage market in Talca for anniversary

The Maule Region will celebrate its 433rd anniversary with the Mercado Patrimonial, an event scheduled for this coming Friday and Saturday at the Plaza de Armas in Talca. The celebration aims to showcase the cultural and gastronomic identity of the region’s four provinces.

Led by Governor Pedro Pablo Álvarez-Salamanca and organized by Fundación Callana, the fair will feature local agriculture, handicrafts, regional wines, and various entrepreneurial ventures. A central attraction will be a gastronomic patio featuring 12 restaurants from different communes. The event also includes cooking workshops and musical performances intended to promote local economic activity and provide a platform for regional producers and artisans.
