Maule Region's Junta de Adelanto partners with officials to advance public‑private projects

The Junta de Adelanto del Maule, a private non‑profit corporation representing 50 regional business, academic and development actors, met with regional delegate Juan Eduardo Prieto. Prieto praised the group’s 30‑year contribution and discussed collaborative efforts on health, the modern hospital network, tourism and other regional challenges.

In a separate meeting, Public Works Regional Ministerial Secretary Yasna Cancino met the Junta to review infrastructure plans, including the international connection via Paso Pehuenche, the Curicó bypass, and maintenance of over 7,000 km of regional roads. The discussion also covered the final construction stages of three hospitals (Parral, Cauquenes, Constitución) and the upcoming Licantén hospital, as well as recent sports facility projects such as the Colbún Sports Complex and the third stage of Estadio La Granja.

Both officials highlighted the Junta’s willingness to collaborate, emphasizing that joint public‑private action is expected to bring broader benefits to the Maule community.
