Max Verstappen anticipates tough Spa‑Francorchamps race

Four‑time world champion Max Verstappen said he expects a difficult race at Spa‑Francorchamps because of energy‑management challenges with his Red Bull car. He noted that the circuit is one of his favourites but, given the current car’s performance, he has modest expectations.

Verstappen recalled similar problems at Silverstone, where the Red Bull struggled before he retired a few laps from the finish. He stressed the need to stay positive, said the team is working to resolve the issues and that he has already returned to the simulator to prepare for the weekend.
