Max Verstappen finishes fourth in Barcelona GP, refuses Red Bull meeting comment

Dutch driver Max Verstappen finished fourth at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Barcelona, acknowledging he had the best tires but expressing that he was not fully satisfied with the result. He praised Red Bull Racing’s overall weekend effort and urged the team to continue improving speed.

When asked by Viaplay about a recent top‑level Red Bull meeting that reportedly discussed his future with the team, Verstappen declined to comment, stating that the discussion was private and “no one’s business.” He also described current car handling issues, especially in slow corners, and noted that Red Bull plans major upgrades for the upcoming Austrian race and is preparing for regulatory changes in 2027‑28.
