Max Verstappen confirms he will stay with Red Bull Racing

Former Formula 1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya said Max Verstappen has no intention of leaving Red Bull, despite the departure of several key personnel from the team in recent years. Montoya argued that Red Bull remains one of the sport’s strongest outfits – “probably the best team in the last 20 years” – and that Verstappen simply wants to keep the squad competitive.

Two‑time world champion Mika Hakkinen added that a move to McLaren would risk the harmony that has driven the British team’s recent success, warning that “if the team has two great drivers, why rock the boat?” Both commentators suggest there is little incentive for Verstappen to switch teams at this stage.
