Maxence Lacroix to exit Crystal Palace, eyed by top European clubs
French centre‑back Maxence Lacroix, 26, is set to leave Crystal Palace after his final appearance against Arsenal. He joined the club in August 2024, has played 29 Premier League games this season and earned a place in France’s squad for the 2026 World Cup.
Palace, who hold his contract until 2029, have indicated a price tag of around €35‑40 million. Lacroix has expressed a desire to move to a club competing in the Champions League, prompting interest from several high‑profile teams, including Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid and other continental sides such as Inter Milan, Napoli, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. No extension talks are underway, suggesting a summer transfer is likely.
