Mayor Juan Manuel Alonso delivers solar heaters to 240 Texmelucan homes

The municipal government of San Martín Texmelucan completed the second phase of its “Cadena de Vivienda 2026” program, providing 120 solar water heaters. With the first and second deliveries combined, 240 households now have access to the sustainable technology, which is expected to lower energy expenses and support environmental goals.

Mayor Juan Manuel Alonso Ramírez, speaking at the event, reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to improve residents’ quality of life through public‑works, security, sport and social‑welfare initiatives. The program was administered by the Secretariat of Social Welfare, represented by its secretary Noé de Jesús Ramírez, who highlighted the economic savings and responsible‑energy practices the heaters promote.
