Mayor Omar Muñoz Inaugurates Pavement Project in Cuautlancingo, Puebla

Municipal president Omar Muñoz delivered a new pavement project in the Privada San Miguel neighborhood of Cuautlancingo, Puebla. The work, carried out in coordination with the state government, installed about 1,000 square metres of cobblestone paving, added public lighting, and repainted curb sections, aiming to improve urban image, mobility and safety for residents.

Muñoz highlighted the initiative as part of the state’s “Obra Comunitaria” programme, backed by Governor Alejandro Armenta, which seeks to address longstanding infrastructure gaps through joint effort between municipal authorities and citizens. State‑level Bienestar delegates Juan Carlos Díaz and Itzel Guzmán Montes praised the collaborative approach and its role in reducing historic neglect.

The mayor pledged to continue similar improvements across the municipality, stressing a commitment to “not forget or abandon” local families and to sustain work on streets, neighborhoods and auxiliary districts.
