Mayor Sami Er reviews major redevelopment projects in Hekimhan, Malatya

Mayor Sami Er of Malatya inspected a series of urban renewal and infrastructure projects in the Hekimhan district. He toured a new commercial‑residential complex comprising 47 apartments, 119 shops and 74 offices, as well as a new water supply line and the replacement of old asbestos pipes.

Er also announced the construction of the Gafla Yolu road linking Hekimhan to the Sivas highway, a new square and landscaping near Taşhan. In the Güzelyurt neighbourhood, disaster‑relief housing units are nearing completion, with 520 such units being built across Hekimhan. The mayor highlighted a 35 billion‑lira investment to overhaul the district’s infrastructure and promised that residents will soon receive the finished homes.

During the visit, Er met local officials, muhtars and residents, emphasizing that the transformation will dramatically change Hekimhan’s appearance and improve public services.
