Mayor Stefano Sansone Reforms Ascea City Council, Appoints Engineer Egidio Criscuolo as Deputy

Mayor Stefano Sansone of Ascea dissolved the previous municipal reserve and announced a new executive team after revoking vice‑mayor Pietro D’Angiolillo. The council retained councillors Mariangela Rizzo and Renata Di Genio, while Filippo Dragone was appointed as the new deputy mayor. Engineer and long‑time local politician Egidio Criscuolo, 43, joined the executive with responsibilities for Public Works, Technological Innovation and Urban Planning, securing support from a segment of the minority. The opposition, led by lawyer Pasquale D’Angiolillo, remains firmly against the administration, while Pietro D’Angiolillo sits as an independent councillor.
