Mazda 6e and Zeekr 7GT highlight new electric sedan performance
The Mazda 6e, a five‑door electric sedan, uses an 80 kWh NCM battery delivering up to 552 km WLTP range and 245 hp (180 kW). It accelerates from 0‑100 km/h in 7.8 seconds, tops out at 175 km/h, and supports 90 kW DC fast charging (10‑80 % in about 47 minutes). Awarded “Electric Vehicle of the Year 2026” in Portugal, it is priced around €38,800 for the long‑range model and includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a premium interior, though it lacks a One‑Pedal system and slower charging compared with a higher‑power variant.
The Zeekr 7GT, positioned as a Grand Tourer, offers 646 hp and a 0‑100 km/h sprint in 3.3 seconds, with a top speed of 210 km/h. Its 75 kWh (rear‑wheel) or larger battery options provide a WLTP range up to 655 km. Fast charging can add over 300 km of range in ten minutes. Priced from €45,990 in Spain, the model features a spacious cabin with up to 1,390 L cargo capacity, aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.25, multiple driving modes, and a full suite of premium equipment. The vehicle reflects Geely’s Chinese origin while being tailored for the European market.
