Mazda CX-30 gets major 2026 refresh in Japan and €7,000 discount in France

In July 2026 Mazda will launch a substantially updated CX‑30 SUV in Japan. The redesign introduces a new 2.5‑litre e‑SKYACTIV G mild‑hybrid gasoline engine and ends production of the 1.8‑litre diesel, consolidating the power‑train lineup to gasoline‑only options. Safety and driver‑assist features are expanded, adding Emergency Lane Keeping, Smart Brake Support and adaptive LED headlights with pedestrian‑lighting, while higher trims receive 360° view monitoring as standard. A new “Air Edition” special‑edition model is introduced with unique exterior styling, premium interior upholstery and BOSE audio. Prices for the refreshed range start at ¥2,640,400 for the entry‑level 20C grade and rise to ¥3,520,000 for the top‑spec 25 Air Edition.

At the same time, Mazda dealers in France are offering a direct €7,000 discount on the CX‑30 Prime‑Line base model, reducing its price from €30,900 to €23,900 when customers trade in an older vehicle. The discounted version is powered by a 140‑hp gasoline engine with a manual gearbox and emits 135 g/km CO₂, attracting a €1,504 emission tax. The promotion highlights the CX‑30’s lightweight chassis and sporty handling compared with rivals in the compact SUV segment.
