Mazda launches all‑new CX‑5 SUV at Indonesia auto show
Mazda, represented in Indonesia by PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia, unveiled the third‑generation CX‑5 at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2026 in BSD City, Tangerang. The company described the update as a “Succession and Evolution” approach, keeping the model’s core character while enlarging the cabin, refreshing the exterior and adding modern technology. The new CX‑5 features a 12.9‑inch touchscreen, a 10.25‑inch digital instrument cluster, Bose 12‑speaker audio, capacitive steering switches and the i‑Activsense safety suite, which includes Blind Spot Monitoring, Front Cross Traffic Alert, Smart Brake Support and Mazda Radar Cruise Control. It retains the SKYACTIV‑G 2.5‑litre engine delivering 179 PS and 240 Nm of torque. By the end of 2025, global CX‑5 sales had exceeded five million units across more than 100 markets. Chief Operating Officer Ricky Thio said, “Our focus is not to create a completely different CX‑5, but to refine the aspects most valued by customers.”
