Mazda starts orders for third‑gen CX‑5 SUV in Taiwan
Mazda Taiwan has opened orders for the all‑new third‑generation CX‑5 compact SUV. The model is offered in four trims – 25S Elite, 25S Exclusive, 25S AWD Premium and 25S AWD Premium Plus – with prices ranging from NT$949,000 to NT$1,169,000. Orders begin immediately and the vehicle is scheduled to launch on 18 August.
Buyers who place orders before 17 August receive a NT$5,000 discount and an extended four‑year, unlimited‑kilometre warranty. The CX‑5’s wheelbase is now 2,815 mm, providing more rear‑seat and cargo space. Power comes from a 2.5‑litre SKYACTIV‑G gasoline engine delivering 188 hp, paired with a SKYACTIV‑DRIVE six‑speed automatic and i‑ACTIV AWD on select models. Safety features include Mazda’s i‑ACTIVSENSE suite and nine SRS airbags.
Inside, the cabin sport a new HMI system with either a 12.9‑inch or 15.6‑inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 10.25‑inch digital instrument cluster and an optional HUD. A new “Tide Blue” paint finishes the exterior. Test‑drive reservations can be made via Mazda Taiwan’s LINE account, with the first trial sessions beginning 22 August.
