Mazda unveils 2027 CX-30 refresh with new safety tech and premium trims
Mazda has launched the 2027 update of its CX-30 compact SUV, introducing two specially equipped versions: the Homura Plus trim, which adds premium exterior lighting, upgraded interior finishes and enhanced comfort, and the Makoto edition inspired by the "Crafted in Japan" philosophy with bright interior tones. The refresh also brings a suite of safety upgrades, including an optimized i‑Activsense system with Smart Brake Support that detects motorcycles, Adaptive LED Headlights for better visibility, and expanded driver‑assist features such as adaptive cruise control and lane‑keeping assistance.
The vehicle’s infotainment system now supports advanced voice recognition and Alexa integration, while the MyMazda app offers remote monitoring and control. Exterior colour options have been expanded to include Aero Grey and New Zinc Green. Under the hood, the CX-30 continues to use Mazda’s M‑Hybrid technology with two gasoline‑powered units: the 140 hp e‑Skyactiv G and the 186 hp e‑Skyactiv X, both available with front‑wheel drive or i‑Activ AWD. Pricing in Spain starts at €31,492 for the base 140 hp manual version, with the top‑spec Takumi model reaching €46,392.
