Mazda unveils CX-6e electric SUV design

Mazda has unveiled the design for the CX-6e, a fully electric crossover developed through collaboration between Mazda’s European and Japanese design teams. Guided by a ‘Soulful Futuristic Modern’ theme, the vehicle evolves the brand’s ‘Kodo – Soul of Motion’ philosophy to suit the electric vehicle era.

The design emphasizes a technical expression with a focus on aerodynamics, featuring front vents to guide airflow and compact digital side mirrors. Key aesthetic elements include a fast silhouette, a floating D-pillar, and sculpted body surfaces intended to convey a sense of movement. The vehicle will also feature 21-inch accessory wheels developed at Mazda’s European Research and Design Centre.

Technical specifications include a 190 kW rating and a WLTP consumption rate of 18.9–19.4 kWh/100 km. The CX-6e is scheduled to arrive in European showrooms this month.
