Poland extends security alert levels until November 2026
Prime Minister Donald Tusk has extended several security alert levels across Poland until November 30, 2026, at 23:59. The decision is a preventive measure in response to the current geopolitical situation and hybrid threats.
Three specific alert levels are currently in effect. The BRAVO level, the second of four stages, applies to the entire country and includes Polish energy infrastructure located abroad. The BRAVO-CRP level is a second-tier alert specifically targeting cyberspace, requiring increased monitoring of information systems nationwide. The CHARLIE level, the third stage, is active on railway lines managed by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe and PKP Linia Hutnicza Szerokotorowa.
These measures do not mandate evacuations or require citizens to stay indoors. However, residents should expect an increased presence of security services, including the Police, Border Guard, and Military Gendarmerie. These services may conduct heightened inspections of people, vehicles, and public facilities, and officers protecting critical infrastructure may be equipped with long weapons and bulletproof vests.
