Mazovian Voivodeship Citizen Budget Voting Opens for 30 Million PLN Projects

Voting has begun for the 7th edition of the Mazovian Voivodeship Citizen Budget, allocating up to 30 million złoty to community projects. A total of 415 ideas were submitted, of which 333 qualified for the vote. The regional breakdown includes 49 projects from the Radom sub‑region, 37 from the western Warsaw sub‑region, and 59 projects available for the whole voivodeship.

The online voting period runs until 7 September. Participants must register with name, locality, county and a mobile phone number, which receives a verification code via SMS. One phone number can be used for up to three voters, allowing families to cast multiple votes. Last year a record 187 000 votes were cast, more than 70 000 above the previous year. Marshal Adam Struzik and deputy director Sara Michalska urged residents to take part, emphasizing the impact on local culture, road safety and emergency services.
