Mbacké police uncover drug trafficking following client dispute

A dispute between a woman and her client in Mbacké, Senegal, has led police to uncover a suspected drug trafficking operation. The incident began on August 12, 2026, when a man from Guinaw Rails visited Mbacké Dimb for a meeting. A disagreement regarding the terms of the encounter caused the client to leave.

Following the encounter, the man repeatedly demanded a refund. In response to his persistence, the woman contacted the Mbacké urban police station. During her statement to investigators, she informed officers that narcotics were present at the residence where the meeting took place.

On August 15, police conducted a search of the premises, resulting in the seizure of 17 hashish tubes, 13 tablets identified as ‘volet’, three crack stones, and 27,400 CFA francs. A suspect, identified as S. M., was arrested and taken into custody. An investigation is ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the suspected possession and trafficking of narcotics.
