MBFW Madrid Fashion Week Shifts to City Venues for 84th Edition

The 84th edition of Madrid's Fashion Week (MBFW Madrid) is scheduled for 14‑19 September and will leave the Ifema exhibition centre for the first time. Shows will take place across the city at venues such as the Nebrija University Campus, the Crystal Palace greenhouse, the Cibeles Palace Crystal Gallery, the Circulo de Bellas Artes, the Rose Garden of Parque del Oeste, the gardens of Palacio de Vista Alegre, the Hotel Palace and the Royal Collections Gallery. The move follows the model of major fashion weeks in Paris, Milan and London, aiming to merge fashion with Madrid’s urban landscape.

Organizers plan a more open, dynamic format with six days of runway events. The week will close with the EGO program dedicated to emerging Spanish designers. Historic label Alvarno returns to the schedule after several years, alongside designers such as Moisés Nieto and Álex Rivière, underscoring the event’s renewed emphasis on both heritage and new talent.
