MCC opens NEET UG 2026 Round 1 registration for medical college seats

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has started the registration process for the first round of NEET UG 2026 counselling. Candidates who passed the NEET UG 2026 exam can register online from 5 August to 12 August 2026 (deadline 3 PM), with the fee payment deadline on 12 August at 6 PM.

Choice filling is scheduled for 6 August to 13 August (morning deadline 11 AM). Choice locking runs from 12 August 4 PM to 13 August 11 AM. Seat allotment will take place between 13 August and 16 August, and the first‑round result will be published on 17 August. Successful candidates must report to their allotted institute between 18 August and 22 August.

The round covers admissions to MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing programmes under both All‑India and State quotas. MCC has instructed that weekends and government holidays will be treated as working days to ensure the process completes within the stipulated timeline.
