McDonald's Japan rolls out Pokémon‑themed Chicken McNuggets discount

McDonald’s Japan will offer a special 15‑piece Chicken McNuggets set in a Pokémon‑designed package from 15 July to 11 August 2026. The promotion reduces the price from ¥740 to ¥490 (tax included) as part of the “Tokuninald” campaign celebrating the chain’s 55th anniversary and Pokémon’s 30th anniversary.

The limited‑time offer also introduces two new sauces – cheese‑curry and umami‑salt‑garlic – and is promoted with a new TV commercial starring actor Masato Sakai. All Japanese McDonald’s locations, except a few, will carry the promotion during the specified period.
