McDonald's opens new restaurants in Clusone and Modica, Italy
Construction began on a new McDonald's outlet in Clusone, Lombardy, along state road 671 near the former car dealership site. The mayor said the restaurant is scheduled to open in late October or early November and will create about 30 jobs, including positions for young workers and students.
The chain opened a second new restaurant in Modica, Sicily, on 3 July. The venue offers 291 seats, digital self‑service kiosks, a McCafé, a dual‑lane McDrive, and a children's play area. It is expected to hire 50 employees, primarily from Modica and neighboring towns, providing a notable boost to local employment.
