Xiaomi launches 17T smartphone in Brazil with Leica camera system

Xiaomi introduced the 17T flagship in Brazil, aiming at the premium segment and competing with models from Motorola, Samsung and Oppo. The device features a Leica Summilux‑branded camera suite, including a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP per‑iscope telephoto lens with 115 mm equivalent focal length, a 12 MP ultra‑wide lens and a 32 MP front‑facing camera.

The 6.59‑inch AMOLED display offers a 1.5K resolution, up to 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,500 nits protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Power comes from a MediaTek Dimensity 8500‑Ultra processor, 12 GB of RAM, 512 GB of internal storage, and a 6,500 mAh battery supporting 67 W fast charging and 22 W reverse charging. Xiaomi positions the 17T as a balanced high‑performance handset with strong photography capabilities for travel, concerts and sports.
