Medical associations address healthcare crises in Ceuta and Ciudad Real

In Ceuta, a delegation from the Andalusian Council of Medical Colleges (CACM) has visited to express support amid what local medical leaders describe as a catastrophic sanitary, economic, and social situation. Enrique Roviralta, president of the Medical College of Ceuta, reported that the city's hospital is collapsed and medical professionals are facing significant psychological strain and uncertainty.

Alfonso Carmona Martínez, president of the CACM, criticized the central government's management of the crisis, stating that the lack of political will has left the city unsupported. He described the current conditions as an indignity for the residents of Ceuta.

In Ciudad Real, the Medical College of Ciudad Real and ACREAR have signed a collaboration agreement to improve rheumatic care. The partnership aims to promote joint activities in health awareness, dissemination, and training. The agreement focuses on strengthening the relationship between medical professionals and patients suffering from inflammatory rheumatic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthritis, through seminars, workshops, and the distribution of rigorous health information.
