Medical Counselling Committee updates NEET SS and UG schedules

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued several updates regarding the 2026 medical entrance counselling processes in India.

For NEET SS 2025-26, the MCC has extended the reporting deadline for Round 2. Following numerous requests from candidates, the deadline for allotted students to complete reporting and joining formalities at their respective colleges, institutes, or hospitals has been moved to 6:00 PM on August 21, 2026.

Additionally, the MCC has released the NEET UG 2026 Round 1 seat allotment results for MBBS and BDS programs. The results, which were previously scheduled for earlier dates, were published on the official website on August 21, 2026. Candidates allotted seats in this round are required to report to their assigned colleges to confirm admission between August 22 and August 31, 2026. Any discrepancies in the results must be reported through the official grievance system by 3:59 PM on August 21, 2026.
