Medical institutions in Bosnia and Croatia upgrade emergency vehicle fleets

Medical institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia have expanded their emergency and sanitary vehicle fleets to improve patient transport and service quality.

In Prnjavor, the local Health Center (Dom zdravlja) added two vehicles to its fleet. One ambulance, costing approximately 170,000 KM, was purchased using the institution's own funds. A second off-road vehicle, valued at around 50,000 KM, was donated by the company Leburić komerc (Fortuna marketi) to mark its 30th anniversary. The facility plans further investments in diagnostic equipment, including a new X-ray machine.

In Croatia, the Emergency Medical Institute of Varaždin County has renewed its fleet with five new vehicles totaling 762,955.50 euros. This includes four vehicles for sanitary transport and one for emergency medical assistance. The new vehicles, which feature active air suspension to improve patient comfort and safety, will be deployed in Varaždin, Ludbreg, Novi Marof, and Ivanec.
