Medicine Hat Speedway offers short-track racing in Alberta

Medicine Hat Speedway serves as a prominent destination for grassroots short-track racing in Southern Alberta. As the only paved oval track in the Central and Southern Alberta region, it offers a variety of racing classes, including Elite Street Stock, Hobby Stock, and Mini C.

Founded in 1985 as a 3/8-mile clay oval, the venue moved to its current paved location in 1993. The Speedway operates as a non-profit, member-run club maintained by volunteers with support from local businesses and the community.
