A report by the global ranking platform Billionhands has identified the most spectacular beaches and coves in the Mediterranean, based on verified user experiences and opinions.

Greece’s Elafonisi beach holds the top position due to its unique pink sand and shallow, calm waters. Other highly-rated Greek destinations include the Balos Lagoon, Navagio Beach, Sarakiniko in Milos, and Porto Katsiki in Lefkada.

Other notable Mediterranean locations featured in the rankings include Zlatni Rat in Croatia, Cala Águila and Playa de Muro in Mallorca (Spain), Cala Goloritzé and Spiaggia dei Conigli in Italy, Palombaggia in Corsica (France), Plage de Pampelonne in Saint-Tropez (France), the Blue Lagoon in Turkey, and the Blue Lagoon in Malta.
