Medtronic Diabetes introduces new automated management solutions
Medtronic Diabetes has introduced two new technological solutions designed to automate and simplify the management of Type 1 diabetes: the MiniMed 780G with the Instinct sensor and the MiniMed Go with the Instinct Go sensor.
These systems integrate continuous glucose monitoring with automated insulin infusion to improve glycemic control and prevent complications. According to Luigi Morgese of Medtronic Diabetes, the goal is to provide patients with more time and a better quality of life through increased automation. Riccardo Candido, President of Fondazione AMD, noted that such innovations offer greater autonomy and freedom for daily activities, including high-level sports.
