Medvedev warns Europe of ongoing drone attacks after Romanian crash

Russian Security Council Vice President Dmitry Medvedev warned European leaders that unmanned aerial vehicles will continue to enter their airspace, citing a Russian drone that struck a residential building in Romania, a NATO member, during attacks on neighboring Ukraine. He urged European officials to stop expressing outrage, saying, "Prepare yourselves: this will continue to happen," and added, "A war is ongoing! And the citizens of EU states will not be able to sleep peacefully."

NATO has accused Moscow of reckless behavior, while Russia said it will respond to Romania’s decision to close the Russian embassy in Constanța. Medvedev suggested that such incidents are likely wherever drones are produced for Ukraine.
