MEGA launches new drama series “Two Black Shirts” with behind‑the‑scenes look

Greek broadcaster MEGA is filming its new drama series “Two Black Shirts” in the mountainous region of Crete. The show adapts the novel of the same name by Menios Sakellaropoulos and follows the lives of two close friends and a woman whose arrival disrupts long‑standing bonds.

The production features Vasilis Bismikis as Manousos, Antonis Myriagkos as Sifis and Marianna Kimouli as Markella. The screenplay is written by Emmanuela Alexiou, while direction is shared by Marios Karamanis and Kostas Kimoulis. A large ensemble cast, including Nikos Verlekis, Eleni Gerasimidou and many others, appears in the released backstage photographs.

The series explores themes of hidden secrets, guilt and passion, set against a backdrop that begins in the 1980s and resurfaces decades later, promising a mix of romance, friendship tests and unresolved past wounds.
