Set in mid-1980s Crete, the story follows how the arrival of Markella—a woman returning to her village from Athens—triggers the reopening of old truths that threaten the lives of Manousos and Sifis.

Following the premiere, actress Marianna Kimouli, who portrays the central character Markella, discussed her role and personal views in an interview with Ligon magazine. While focusing on her professional career, Kimouli noted that she values family deeply and has considered adoption as a potential path to motherhood in the future.
