Mega's drama series 'Two Black Shirts' starts filming in Crete

Greece's Mega channel has begun production on the new drama series "Two Black Shirts" (Δυο Μαύρα Πουκάμισα). The series, adapted from Menios Sakellaropoulos's novel, received an early green‑light for 140 episodes, marking it as a flagship project for the upcoming television season.

Filming kicked off in the Anogia area of Crete, using a local church as a set. Actors such as Antonis Myriagkos, who is known for his role as Kapodistrias, and cast members Michalis AERAKIS, Danai Michalaki and Takis Sakellarios visited the set, expressing enthusiasm and creative anxiety. The screenplay is written by Emmanuel Aleksiou, who was praised by the cast for her work.

The production is being promoted as a major cultural offering, featuring strong Cretan elements, family secrets and intense rivalries, and is expected to become one of the most discussed Greek television releases of the new season.
