Paris Brunner shines at AS Monaco amid national team interest

AS Monaco striker Paris Brunner is experiencing a breakout season, scoring eight goals in nine competitive matches. His recent performance included a standout goal in a 3-0 Conference League victory against SC Freiburg.

Brunner, a former Borussia Dortmund player and U17 World Cup winner, has drawn significant attention from German national team coach Jürgen Klopp, who previously described him as a “huge talent.” Despite his scoring prowess, Brunner remains cautious regarding a potential call-up to the senior national team, stating that he will focus on his performance and let the coach make the decision.

While his on-field progress is notable, Brunner has faced disciplinary challenges, including a recent suspension in Ligue 1 for an inappropriate celebration. He currently leads several high-profile players in scoring frequency for his club.
