Mekong Delta key transport and energy projects accelerated

The Vietnamese government is accelerating key transportation and energy projects in the Mekong Delta region. Following an inspection by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc, authorities have issued directives to ensure projects meet scheduled completion dates.

Regarding transportation, specific focus is placed on the Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang Expressway (Phase 1). Investors are instructed to increase manpower, equipment, and materials, utilizing '3 shifts, 4 crews' to maintain progress. Additionally, officials are working to resolve shortages in stone materials required for the Can Tho - Ca Mau and Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang expressways by coordinating with local authorities in Can Tho, An Giang, and Dong Nai.
